Capacity via Source.

There's been a remembering...

How easy it is to forget the inner wisdom we collect along the journey...As if the seasons we go through year after year, can pluck away at the threads of wisdom we've spent our life collecting. What am I talking about here? I'm talking about the inner guide. The inner knowing. The feeling or the voice within each of us that tells us, 'we can' and 'we will'. If I had to put a specific word to this knowing, it might be 'capacity'. Our capacity gives us our freedom in this world. What does capacity have to do with freedom? Well, capacity is defined as 'the maximum amount that something can contain' or 'the amount that something can produce'. Freedom, on the other hand, is defined as 'the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved'. So how do they relate and connect to one another? If our freedom, or the parameters that we are 'allowed' to operate within, is equal to the capacity of ourselves and others to hold and anchor us to our aligned values and spaces of importance-then they are extremely relative. Let's go a little deeper...stay with me.

Have you ever had the sense that you don't deserve 'true freedom'? Like, for whatever reason exists in our minds, if we were 'granted' true freedom to do absolutely anything or say absolutely anything on our minds-that the outcome could somehow become bad or scary or negative? Of course, the outcome of absolute unbridled freedom could get 'out of hand' and become a bit chaotic...sure. But have you also taken the time in your life to get crystal fucking clear on what your values and spaces of importance are? If you are really operating in the world in alignment with your values and spaces of importance...aren't you already experiencing true freedom? Or are there places where you see or witness yourself holding back? Maybe you feel like you haven't been able to truly speak up and say what's on your heart or on your mind? Who is putting these limitations in place for you?

See, our capacity for anything is directly relative to our beliefs. If we believe that there is only a limited amount of love to go around in our family system, then we can only have capacity to experience love in the parameters of that belief. Maybe that manifests as us constantly feeling like we have to compete for attention or affection in that family system...and more than likely, also in our other relationships. If we believe that we can only put up with so much uncertainty before we decide to opt out of an experience or relationship all together, then our capacity for being out of control of that certainty is limited. Maybe that manifests as a hard 'breaking point' with anyone or anything that doesn't have predetermined rules and programming. Limited capacity slowly chips away at our ability to access flow state. If something HAS to be a certain way, how do access and stay in a state of flow? Rigidity and flow are polar.

So, what really creates these beliefs that show up with limiting our capacity? Certainly, we can argue that experiences in our lives lead us to specific beliefs. However, this can lead to a road that is full of limitations, generalizations, scarcity, wall-building, and more. This road is not the road you will travel to freedom on. Then, what if we remembered (because it's not an idea or belief that is new or needs to be realized for the first time) that our capacity for anything is rooted in source energy. What is 'source energy'? In physics, source energy refers to anything that provides energy that can be transformed into work, heat, or motion. In our energetic body...source energy is infinite and could even be simplified to 'love'. Our capacity to then love (ourselves or other) should be infinite, given the logical deduction of reasoning. So, what stops us from achieving this seemingly impossible act? It's our patterning and beliefs around what love is and how it's given and received. If you have never truly experienced unconditional love in your life and how that feels in your entire system, you may have a limited belief pattern about what that CAN look like. Therefore, your capacity to experience, give, and receive love becomes limited, compromised, and ultimately: conditional.

These experiences we collect along the path, turn into stories that we consistently reinforce over time. Even if we may have experienced some form of source energy-unconditional love-whatever you want to call it...we forget as we move through the journey of life. Our lens with which we see the capacity limits can become clouded with these experiences and patterning...until we almost forget completely. To get to a place where we can remember the sensation or the experience that we once had...when we felt connected to source. Connected to unconditional love. It doesn't take years of therapy or hundreds of hours of retreats...it takes a little bit of slowing down, connecting with the spirit, and just a little bit of remembering.

If you made it to the end...thanks for reading. I love you too.
